HydraSwap Seeks to Give AMMs the Yield-earning Power of Big Money Managers
AMMs allow passive savers to earn fees as liquidity providers without the pains of actively managing investment positions. Under the constant product market maker model (CPMM), however, passive LPs lose profits to arbitrageurs who step in to align prices when token inventories are off balance. Consequently, LPs face high risk of impermanent loss. This risk is further exacerbated by the inability to manage volatility.
